We are inviting applications from teachers holding UK QTS/QTLS or with extensive UK curriculum based Maths teaching experience to work at this excellent SEND school which caters for pupils that have ASC & SEMH. This role will be appointed based both on the right person firstly (based on student-engagement ability), then on subject teaching expertise.
This is a permanent post to start from 1st September 2021 or sooner (anytime) for the right applicant, if the applicant is available sooner. The post is intended to run on a 12 week trial basis initially with a transfer to permanent contract after satisfactory completion.
This school enjoys modern teaching facilities and has enjoyed a rapid turnaround led by their enthusiastic and very active headteacher. The head has implemented a scheme of positive behaviour strategies, resulting in a massive reduction in student behaviour incidents, almost eliminating physical interventions and vastly improving staff attendance as a result. Applicants with Team Teach training may be at an advantage however free training will be provided for the successful applicant. The school operate on a transparent and collaborative basis across departments and between staff & senior leadership team. Ideas are shared and everyone has the opportunity to enhance the working environment and student opportunities. Overall this is a highly positive environment to work in for both staff & students.

This role will be run through Elementa Education. All candidates working through Elementa are expected to engage with their respective role as if employed permanently from the outset.
