Staffline is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work in Basingstoke.
The rate of pay is:
- Ambient and chill middle shift: GBP9.50 to GBP12.50 per hour, rising to GBP14.61 per hour after 12 weeks.
This is a full-time role and the hours of work are:
- Ambient middle shift: 1.30pm to 9pm
- Chill middle shift: 2pm to 10pm
No experience is needed to earn up to GBP14.61 per hour as a Warehouse Operative at a busy distribution centre for a leading UK supermarket.
Your Time at Work
As a Warehouse Operative at this site you will use mechanical handling equipment to transport products to the assembly areas. Your duties will include:
- Operate a Low Level Order Picker (LLOP)
- Use an arm-mounted computer to pick items for orders
- Assemble items from pallets
- Load items on to roll cages
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal Warehouse Operative can work accurately and meet targets. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
This role is a performance-based, so experience of working in a warehouse would be ideal; however, full training will be provided.
Each worker is expected to achieve a minimum of 100% weekly performance after 6 weeks.
You should have basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Health & Safety would be beneficial in this role.
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
