Occupational Therapist (Single Handed Care)

We are looking to recruit 3 full-time additional Occupational Therapists to our Single-Handed Care Team (will consider part time applications).

• Do you want to join a supportive team, managed and coached by Occupational Therapists?

You will need to be a committed, well organised and motivated OT to join us in our Single-Handed Care Team, which is part of our Maximising Independence Service. You will be completing reviews, providing appropriate equipment and advice and making sure everyone has a tailor made moving and handling plan. You will have a strength-based approach and work closely with people and their carers in order to agree goals and outcomes and must have excellent communication and IT skills and must be good at motivating others and be able to support others through change.

The posts will cover North (Bassetlaw & Newark) Mid Notts (Mansfield and Ashfield) and South (Broxtowe, Gedling & Rushcliffe). The base is at Lawn View House, but currently staff are predominantly working remotely, and our departments Smarter Working protocol recognises our workforce needs to work flexibly to the benefit of the people of Nottinghamshire and staff. We can offer opportunities for CPD, career progression and to mentor Community Care Officers.
