Software Trainer
Woking/Remote
I am recruiting for a reliable software trainer who has a background in teaching people how to use web application software - and preferably web content management systems. You are adept at designing training courses, creating appropriate training materials, and delivering them most effectively - both through an e-Learning platform, and "in person"
(remotely at present, of course). You must be a strong team player with attention to detail and a keen eye for best UX, who believes in everyone working together-each with their own voice and contributions; each with their own strengths and things to learn.
Essentials -Experience in???
• designing training courses for web application software;
• training on Content Management Systems (CMS) at an enterprise level, e.g. Joomla, Drupal, Sitecore, Umbraco (although we will consider experience in Wordpress and similar) - CMS experience is a must;
• writing training materials - for online courses, eLearning, and for direct delivery to customers.
Nice to have
• an understanding of how websites work in general, i.e. why one would want to do a certain thing within the Content Management Platform;
• experience in validating new software features or solutions from a usability point of view;
• a solid understanding of Information Architecture techniques, especially within website and user interface design;
• experience working with Accessibility tools and testing frameworks;
• some understanding of how good content enhances Search Engine Optimisation;
• experience with ISO 9001
