Concept Resourcing are currently looking to recruit Experienced IT Deployment Engineers within/ commutable to Solihull to support an IT upgrade within a government organisation.
Engineers will be required to support upgrades on customer site and be required to complete a security clearance prior to commencing works.
Duration: on going - up to 3 months
Rate information:
Monday - Friday day work
8 hour working day
GBP110 per day via Umbrella (inside IR35)
Site based activity - local
Sites outside of region available to cover if engineer is willing to assist
Mileage claimable after 50 miles*
Hotels (if required) booked and paid for directly with no upfront cost to engineer
Hotels only applicable when engineer is happy to cover a location not within their region
Meal Allowance per day for working away from home
Training and on site support provided
The Role:
Will involve the following tasks:
Decommissioning of legacy kit
Installation/ Deployment of new IT kit
Plugging and powering up the kit to configure/ connect
Basic and generic Software upgrades, build and imaging (script based)
Manage and work to the deployment schedule set by client
The Candidate:
MUST have a minimum of 1-3 years' employment experience within an IT deployment role and be able to:
Support client systems, service and deploy computer equipment.
Be confident with IT hardware and be able to carry out the installation process
Provide the client with high levels of customer service and have a proven background in doing so.
Be able to pass the security clearance that is required by the end client and be happy to have this check carried out by a third party partner
