Our award-winning manufacturing client is now looking for an Inventory Controller to join their friendly, warm, and vibrant operations team! As the Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for the monitoring, controlling, and purchasing of all commercial stock.
Job Description:
Liaising closely with supply chain and warehouse where necessary to ensure customers' expectations of install are met to the agreed timeline. This will include:
Checking stock availability against sales orders at regular intervals and highlight shortages and delays (12 weeks / 8 weeks / 4 weeks prior to dispatch).
Updating systems daily following notification from freight forwarders of any changes to the container schedule and notify supply chain/sales team of delays and alternatives if any current sales orders are impacted.
Allocation of stock to specific sales orders managing both free stock and incoming container stock.
Daily checking of credit and delivery blocks and liaising with relevant departments to resolve.
Daily check of sales allocation reports in line with a 3-week KPI for Supply Chain to release orders to warehouse for the build.
Weekly check of buffer stock sales for Key Account customers.
Dealing with warehouse queries during the build process.
Assisting internal sales with system uploads for price changes and product creation in line with a 24-hour KPI.
Booking direct containers into system stock and allocation of sales orders.
Dealing with sales team enquiries regarding free stock and responding in line with a 48-hour KPI.
Any further ad-hoc projects as directed by Inventory Team Leader. Candidate Requirements:
