About the role
Nexperia has an exciting opportunity for a product qualification specialist to join our team. As Product Quality Architect, you will ensure quality engineering excellence for the MOS product portfolio, working in close partnership with our Innovation and Automotive Engineering teams.
You will define and establish approaches to the qualification of products to assure launch with immediate zero defect performance. This role will suit a top calibre semiconductor device expert with the drive and desire to engineer quality into our products and processes.
What you will do
* Develop approaches for quality engineering assurance in new releases and product or process changes, partnering with innovation and industrial engineering teams
* Advance qualification product methods and approaches to detect failure modes in development for MOS products
* Collaborate with laboratories in developing new test methods
* Carry out problem solving activities arising from qualification failures, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on failures
* Communicate quality status to steering teams and management reviews, reporting key performance indicators
What you will need
* Degree or equivalent in Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a relevant discipline, MEng/PhD strongly preferred
* Passion to bring knowledge of problem solving and quality tools (such as FMEA, 8D, MSA, risk assessment, statistics of failure and data analysis) to help grow our business
* Familiarity with complex manufacturing environments, ideally semiconductors
* Expertise in planning and project management skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a small team
* Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Familiarity with Customer Specific Requirements and international standards; IEC, JEDEC, IATF16949, Automotive Q100, Q101 (preferred)
* Fuency in an additional relevant language, ideally Chinese (preferred)
