Service Coordinator
Our client who manufacture and supply windows and doors are currently seeking a Service Coordinator based in their Cambs office.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract for a Services Co-ordinator.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
To provide an efficient and professional after sales service to our customer base, which comprises private customers, house builders and main contractors, as well as internal customers/colleagues. The key responsibility of a Service Coordinator is to ensure that Customers issues/requests are resolved in a proficient and professional manner whilst ensuring that risk and cost is managed and considered.
EDUCATION:
GCSE in Maths and English - desirable
Fully IT literate - essential
Further education/technical qualification in the building or construction industry - desirable
NVQ in Carpentry and Joinery - desirable
NVQ in Customer Service - desirable
WORK EXPERIENCE:
??Project Coordination/Management experience - essential
??Experience in the construction or building industry - desirable
??Experience in one of the following areas: Shop Fitting, Builders Merchant, Kitchen & Bathrooms, Fenestration, Building Contractor, Automotive, Carpentry & Joinery
??Experience in After Sales Service - desirable
??Technical sales/support experience - desirable
??ERP experience (ideally SAP) - desirable
Your key tasks will be:
??Receive customer enquiries by email or telephone
??Ensure cases are handled in accordance with priority
??Raise service orders for parts and labour
??Liaise with the production department in Poland for factory supplied parts
??Liaise with local suppliers for additional parts
??Schedule necessary work by Service Technicians, and ensure reports are submitted
??Liaise with customers over access and delivery of parts
??Raise invoices for chargeable work and take credit card payments from customers
A comprehensive three month training programme will be provided.
You are fully IT literate and will:-
??Have great customer service skills
??Enjoy working in a fast moving service environment
??Have some experience in after sales service, technical service, or the construction industry
??Want to develop your career in an established company with a great reputation
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3.30pm on Friday.
SALARY AND PACKAGE
Salary band: GBP22,000 to 26,000 per annum
Bonus: performance related bonus of up to GBP3,000 per annum, payable in arrears
Pension (5% Employer contribution/4% Employee contribution)
Private medical insurance
25 days holiday per annum plus statutory days
Life insurance (3 x salary)
