Have you experience of working within the plastics / chemical process sector. Do you want to work for a market leader in the plastic and chemical industry? Have you previously worked as Machine Controller / Machine Operator ?
This is a permanent role based in Milton Keynes area. As Machine Controller, reporting to the Operations Shift Leader, you will be responsible for operating machines on production lines and ancillary equipment working towards production targets. Working to Company quality standards, reporting any breakdowns or malfunctions efficiently to avoid downtime, and controlling the mixing, melting, extruding, cooling, and drying machinery, as well as assisting in packaging the final product ready for quality control and dispatch.
Working continental shifts (4 day / 4off / 4 nights 6-6), the company offer a salary of Circa 34K, plus performance based annual bonus (upto 6% of salary), summer and Christmas shut down, and a generous pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution).
For the Machine Controllers position you will need to have a good level of secondary education including GCSE passes in Maths and English. A must is experience of working within a manufacturing environment working as a machine controller / machine operator or similar. A counter balance FLT licence would be desirable
