IT Technical Manager
Our client is a collection of four innovative businesses that create and deliver music and digital experiences to branded spaces.
They are a mixed bag of expert marketers, creatives, musos and IT techies, each with the smarts in their own area.
Their solutions and services are used globally and they have an impressive list of big brand clientele.
They were founded in the mid 00's and have a growing global team operating in Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, South Africa, and Australia.
Due to expansion they have created this new role for a Senior Technical Manager to join the team in their Hertfordshire HQ.
The role
You will join this busy and thriving company as their IT Technical Manager. You'll work closely with the Technical Director to coordinate, support and implement both internal and customer IT projects across the business.
You'll be responsible for ensuring delivery of these projects and resolution of customers technical issues throughout the whole business.
Your background
You will require an extensive range of IT knowledge including software development, hardware, network configuration, server administration and project management to enable you to support all aspects of the technical department. This knowledge will allow you to work effectively with other team members and enable you to be hands on where necessary.
The role would suit someone with extensive knowledge of computer systems. You may have had a software development background, now working as a testing or delivery manager, or you may be in a more general technical role.
This role will require you to have a strong understanding of the software development process and practices as well as being able to work very closely with 3rd line engineers to resolve software issues.
Your technical skills
* Understanding of software development and source code
* Server administration of Linux, Microsoft and Database environments
* Cloud Computing
* Network setup and configuration
* Experience of Team leading
* Business Process improvements / Analysis
* CRM system experience

* Any knowledge of Video and Audio technology
* MS Dynamics
