Team Leader (Care Home) > Permanent > GBP12 per hour
Penrose Court Care Home is looking to recruit a Team Leader, on a permanent basis. (Dayshift)
Our purpose-built care home offers exceptional levels of Respite, Residential, Nursing & Dementia Care for up to 65 residents.
This role is for those who want to make a real difference and help support residents and staff to reach their potential. You will be a key team player and will put residents at the heart of everything that you do.
The ideal candidate will be:
* A caring and motivated person.
* Experience supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia.
* Confidence and experience to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.
* Have a good understanding of care planning and be able to review as required.
Most importantly, you will have achieved the minimum of a Level 3 vocational qualification in Health and Social Care (either a diploma or NVQ)
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing excellent care and support to residents.
* Ensuring high standards are always maintained.
* Supervising, leading and motivating all care assistants in order for the team to function efficiently.
* Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.
* Administering medication as instructed.
* Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.
* Supporting and working with care assistants.
* Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
