HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Delivery Driver
Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Standard rate GBP11.27 per hour (accrued holiday on top of pay GBP1.37 per hour). Overtime rate GBP16.91 per hour (above 37 hours mid-week).
• Regular, on-going work Monday to Friday
• No weekends, nights, or late finishes
• Overtime paid after 37 hours per week and all hours Saturday
• Start time ranging from 6am, with finish time between 3-5 pm
• Public-sector employer
• Upon completion of assignment, guarantee of 14 hours paid CPC training to be provided
• Opportunity to progress to a full-time employment
Working within a busy Distribution centre, the role will require the delivery of stock and food products to customer premises, normally schools along the M62 corridor. The suitable Candidate will be required to undertake 20+ drops per day with goods handballed off the vehicle at the delivery point. 45-50 hours a week. Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous. Good understanding of driving and working time directives is a must. Work is regular ongoing all year with a chance to progress to a full-time permanent role.
Suitable Applicant Requirements:
• Must hold a valid CAT C license - newly qualified drivers will be considered
• No more than 6 points on your license
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Card
