Job Title: Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: GBP60,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Mon- Fri
Location: Remote
A global world class business at the forefront of the Aerospace/Defence sector. Due to continuing growth they are now looking to add to the Embedded Software Team and therefore have a position for an Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The successful candidate must hold (or be able to obtain) SC clearance. As an Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will become an integral part of the team and have the flexibility to work remotely with occasional travel to their site in Horsham.
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be joining a leader in its field and one that offers variety in their working day. Parts of the position will involve mentoring and support to the wider team.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer Responsibilities
* Performing signal processing and interfacing software into embedded and real-time environments
* Provide a high level of expertise within Defence developing to a highly secure environment
* Writing test procedures and test scripts and performing unit testing
* Implementing requirement changes
* Investigating and implementing problem reports and change requests
Senior Embedded Software Engineer Requirements
* Embedded C++ an ADA development to high standards
* Linux application and driver development experience with an Embedded Linux Platform
* Understanding of the full product development lifecycle within a secure environment
* Experience with customer support dealing with people face to face
* Development of software plans, requirements developments and software verification
