Technical Product Engineer
Our Yorkshire based client develop and manufacture a range of state-of-the-art optical and imaging instrumentation, they are currently looking for a Technical Product Engineer to provide definition and development for new products required in the scientific market place.
This is a pivotal role within the organisation and will require the successful candidates to initiate ideas for new advancements in imaging products, including ancillary components and ultimately liaise with key internal teams to lead to the successful development of products for specific customer applications.
Additional duties will include :
* Implementing a specific product strategy
* Networking with customers to understand needs and instrument scenarios
* Gathering market knowledge within sectors to uncover existing instrument constraints and uncover future demand needs
* Maintaining product roadmaps
* Writing technical bulletins, documentation to support R&D, applications and sales activities
Applications are invited from candidates with a BSc in Biomedical Science / Engineering, together with previous suitable skills and experience
This is a permanent position offering an attractive salary (depending on skills and experience)
