PRU Maths Teacher
I am currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking to employ a PRU Maths Teacher, the successful candidate doesn't need to have worked in a Pupil Referral Unit before but will need strong behaviour management. For this role you will be required to teach Maths to small class of 8 students with behavioural needs. Some of the students you will be teaching will be working towards their GCSEs and others working at a much lower level. Therefore, the ideal PRU Maths Teacher for this role must be able to adapt their lessons and also have an encouraging way with the students.
About the School
This Pupil Referral Unit in based in the London brough of Croydon and caters for students aged between 10-18 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis. They currently have 60 students who attend and in their last Ofsted they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
