ASSEMBLER / TEST TECHNICIAN
Urgent Permanent Vacancy
Long established manufacturing company are looking to recruit an experienced Assembler / Wirer to join their manufacturing team. This is an interesting and varied role working as part of a friendly team.
You will be responsible for building small to medium precision electromechanical assemblies working from drawings and verbal instructions. This will require performing fine soldering to high standards, as well as general mechanical and electro mechanical assembly. The tools you will use includes soldering irons, pliers, cutters, screw drivers, spanners, allen keys, wrenches, jigs and general bench assembly equipment.
Once the units are assembled you will then perform basic testing to ensure the product performs its basic functions. Where required you would then make the necessary repairs to correct any errors.
To be considered for the role you will need:
Relevant assembly experience together with good soldering skills
To have good eyesight with the manual dexterity necessary to perform sometimes small fiddley work
Have a good attention to detail and take pride in going a good job.
Please note this would not suit someone who is purely a PCB assembler. You must have more general electro mechanical experience
