We are recruiting for an Office Administrator on behalf of our client who are a leading supplier in their field. This is an extremely varied and busy role that would suit a candidate who can adapt to different tasks as and when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
Taking customer order details by telephone and from email requests
Sales order processing using Sage 50 Accounts
Confirming the status of customer orders and deliveries, keeping customers updated regarding any delays / changes to orders
Liaising with the warehouse to resolve picking and despatch queries
Processing and generating freight paperwork for despatch
Plan routes and create run sheets for drivers
Put all run sheet paperwork together and book deliveries/collections with customers/suppliers and obtain booking references prior to despatch (inc waste)
Compiling emails, quotations and letters etc.
Answering the telephone
Administrative support for Directors and Sales personnel as required
Filing
Coding and posting supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner using Sage 50 Accounts
Supplier statement reconciliations
Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Ensuring all procedures on company quality system ISO (Apply online only) are adhered to at all timesThe Candidate
Hardworking/ Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular excel spreadsheets
Sage 50 experience or other accounts package preferable but not a necessity
Self-motivated
Ability to work alone but also to work within a team
Reliable/Flexible The Package:
Salary: GBP18K - 24K depending on experience
Hours: (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00 (Car owner required due to the location of the offices)
Holiday: 24 days a year plus bank holidays (January - December 3-4 days required for Xmas)
Auto enrolment to pension scheme
