You should have a strong academic record of achievement which does not need to be Computer Science but you will have an interest in Software and some reasonable programming skills in one of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Matlab or R. Any interest in Big Data technologies are a plus e.g. MapReduce, TensorFlow, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Deeplearning4j, Python (SciPy, NumPy, Pandas) etc. Database skills are highly desirable e.g. SQL, Oracle, DB2. However, the most important aspect is about your overall aptitude to apply a range of technologies with full training provided.
This role is open to candidates who have an outstanding record of academic achievement in a technical, scientific or engineering discipline. Including but not limited to: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Etc.
The role is very well rounded in terms of having both a technical and business focus and is very interesting and stimulating. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of a solution.
