Responsible for the day to day running of small projects and reactive works.
Key tasks as a Project Engineer:
?? Plan & Develop; boiler room installations, gas fired air heaters and radiant tube installations, pipework installations, plumbing works, ventilation works and general HVAC works service and installations.
??A sound knowledge of heating systems, air conditioning systems and gas regulations.
?? Survey and Price small projects and repairs
?? Supervise and support Engineers.
?? Measuring Performance
?? Measuring budgets, timescales, and specifications
?? Maintain & modify equipment to ensure it is safe & reliable.
?? Preparing quotations
?? Liaise with suppliers to obtain negotiated prices.
?? Liaising with Clients to manage the relationship and service.
?? Provide Technical Assistance to team members in the service team acting as the subject matter expert.
?? Technical Help to both engineers and customers
?? Produce details of specifications and outline designs.

?? Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role, ensuring you deliver the basics right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
?? Develop and use new materials and technologies. Managing Risk
?? Awareness of your operational and regulation risks which may impact on your operations.
?? Responsibility for reporting to your line manager any risk which may impact the business.
?? A key contact for the engineers on site when seeking guidance on determining risk factors or necessary precautions when the job deviates from the existing method of works.
?? Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing suppliers.
?? Use research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, particularly those in mathematical modelling and computer-aided design.
