Job Title: Support Worker - Nights
Location: Hereford
Contract: Full Time
Contract Available: 39, 37 or 30 hours
Salary: GBP9.50 per hour
Safehands are supporting a fantastic organization that has a great presence within the community. This opportunity is work as part of a team in a small residential/supported living in the heart of Hereford.
The positions available are Support Worker positions with a range of permanent contracts, this position has the benefits of growing your own personal and professional skills within a supported environment.
Environment
This Supported Living/Residential has capacity for 4 people and has will be at full capacity over the next 3 months. The service is a specialist service that supports young adults aged 20+ who have complex needs, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
Essential Requirement
You don't need to have worked in supported living before to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind, patient and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.
Ideally you will already hold a Level 2 Health and Social Care Diploma or have the willingness to undertake.
You'll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.
Driver-desirable
Even though this contract is for Nights- you WILL have to complete the occasional day shift - dependent on the service needs- so flexibility is essential
