Multi-skilled Forklift Drivers

We are recruiting Multi-skilled Forklift Drivers for a successful Frozen Food Manufacturing Company located in Boston.

Rate of Pay: GBP9.67 per hour. Weekly pay. Paid Breaks. Overtime Available. PPE provided. Parking on site. Canteen. 30 min walk from the city centre.

Hours of work: 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am. 12h shifts.

Desired shift pattern is continental 3-2-2 12h with day/night rotation, if you got questions or can't contribute to exact shift please contact us and we will see what we can do to support you. Part-timers are also very welcome

The role:

This is an ideal role for someone who is or has worked as a Forklift driver, preferably in the food industry. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required at an ITSSAR, AITT, BRITOP or RTITB standard or equivalent.

This multi-skilled role encompasses a range of responsibilities and duties and can be physically demanding at times. The suitable applicant will need to be versatile and flexible in their approach to work duties. The applicant may be asked to work in any area of the business as and when demand requires it.

The Multi-skilled Forklift Driver will report to the Shift Team Leader and will have, but won't be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure that the production lines are kept well stocked to keep the line running effectively.
• Ensure full completion of daily targets whilst maintaining strict Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards.
• Ensure the work areas are kept tidy and organised at all times.
• Assist with cleaning and wash downs.
• To empty waste throughout the shift.
• Move crates.
• Yard work.
• Any other adhoc duties as required.
