Our well-established award-winning, wealth management client has the aim to provide a unique and modern approach to financial planning for high-net-worth individuals and the employee benefits market. With exciting growth plans over the next 5 years, they are now looking for a Client Services Manager to join their highly valued Client Services Support Team.
As the Client Services Manager you will report to the Compliance and Operations Manager and manage the Business Support Team. The team currently consists of four administrators and one apprentice.
The Client Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the teams processing of new business, proactive ongoing client management, servicing existing business, platform-based work, illustrations and regular contact directly with clients and the wrap/platform providers as well as undertaking these activities. This must be done in such a way as to ensure that the firm's client and service propositions are delivered in an efficient and robust way, whilst maintaining high levels of risk management, operational effectiveness.
Job Description:
Responsible for administration within the IFA Client Services Support Team and providing support to Client Services Support Staff and Paraplanners within the team.
Receiving and acting on instructions from adviser's ad paraplanners following client meetings.
Support the Compliance and Operations Manager with managing workflows within the business support function.
Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems and oversees team member work for quality and compliance.
Maintaining actuate records using our internal back-office system.
Creating and producing letters, reports, and invoices.
Ensuring they and team members carry out all tasks in a consistent manner. including processing new business in line with compliance procedures keeping an accurate record of all checks.
Obtaining illustrations and product information from providers.
Liaising with clients and product providers on outstanding documents and queries.
Preparation of existing client valuations/files ready for reviews.
Process of new business.
Ensuring all client files are compliant on an ongoing basis. Candidate Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience working in a Business Support role for a financial planning organisation.
Experience in using computer-based management systems including a full understanding of Wrap/Platforms.
Computer literate, conscientious and have good attention to detail.
Excellent understanding of the financial planning process.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to work within defined business processes.
Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision.
Prioritise own workload and workload of the Business Support Team.
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively and assist in ad-hoc projects when required.
An excellent working knowledge of protection, pensions, and investment products.
Proficient in using MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and Intelligent Office.
Ideally working towards level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning.
Good level of Investment and Pension knowledge.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (flexible)
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 per annum DOE
