Our established and growing client based in Cardiff but with national reach, are recruiting for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join them in the next part of their growth in 2021.

The company have experienced significant growth throughout 2020 and this is set to continue, and following some significant wins, we are seeking an experienced person to manage a number of customer accounts in Essex and along the M25. Regular travel to Head Office in Cardiff will be expected, although, the provision of virtual meetings will of course be utilised.

In this key hire, provide management and development of direct reporting account managers; to manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring stable and profitable relationships are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the management of the account managers to collectively support operations, the customer delivery team and the finance and administration team in delivering high quality customer service.
Allocation of resources in the team, for agreeing leave and for generally ensuring that a smooth service is provided to the business at any given time.
Responsible for compiling any business case for requesting any additional resources to the commercial director.
Responsible for the recruitment, support, and development of the account managers.
Attend regular review meeting with customers via face to face / remote video meetings or conference calls.
Establish and maintain effective communication links with other departments to ensure that customer objectives are achieved.
Liaise internally within the organisation to resolve customer issues that may arise.
Provide feedback about customer complaints and problems with a goal to preventing future problems.
Maintain accurate records of all contractual customer information and be aware of the contractual obligations.
Prepare and review regular customer reporting information that is provided to the customer.
Report on a weekly basis any significant opportunities, issues, or threats to the Senior Account Manager.
Identify and report new sales opportunities with existing customers and develop a plan to maximise the profitable revenues.
Responsible for the regular invoicing of the customer.
Assist the finance and administration department in obtaining information from the customers.
Maintain awareness of services and of relevant sales opportunities to ensure that the role is carried out effectively and profitably.Skills, Experience & Qualification:

Effective planning and organisational skills.
Ability to influence people with the organisation to champion the cause of the external customer and achieve results
Effective interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with customers/staff.
Strong experience of managing, coaching, and influencing a remote team of account managers
Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written at all levels, externally and internally within the organisation.
Excellent planning and organisation skills, and an ability to meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to deal with conflict.
Able to act as a good ambassador for the company.
High level of computer literacy.
Effective time management skills.
