A fantastic opportunity for you to develop your career in the photography/digital industry - our client based in Melton Mowbray are recruiting a new person to join their team, as a Trainee. Depending on the person they could look to put you through an Apprenticeship which would give you a nationally recognised qualification.
Joining the small team you will gain skills by undertaking the following duties:
- Editing photography work using Adobe Photoshop
- Adjusting and printing photos according to customer needs
- Answering the telephones, booking appointments, handling customer queries
- Carrying out IT tasks
- Meeting and greeting customers for their appointments, putting them at ease
- Handle company social media pages
- Marketing
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with talking to customers of all ages, with professionalism. This is a small team and your duties may vary so you would need a flexible attitude to your work. If you have some experience of photography
In return the company will invest in you as a person and give you all the skills and knowledge you need. There is the possibility of progression in this role as well, if you are looking for a career in photography.
The working hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, if you are taking the Apprenticeship you would also carry out college studies. Occasional Sundays to be worked as well with a day off in return. 9:00am-4:00pm/5:00pm daily in line with company needs but you would need to be flexible, this is a small business with varying needs.
National Minimum or Living Wage applies for your age - GBP4.62 - GBP8.91 per hour (this is above the minimum Apprentice wage). This is a starting wage and will be reviewed regularly in line with your performance.
