Data/Document/Config Controller
A Data/Document/Config Controller is required to work on a six month contract (WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION) for our Aerospace client based in Essex although working from home during Covid.
This is a contract within the aerospace industry.
Overview of the Data/Document/Config Controller contract role
Data & Document Configuration Specialist - Teamcenter Enterprise 8 PDM The Support Services Group provide data and document services in support of Engineering and Operations for the wide range of primarily aerospace equipment produced and serviced at the Rochester site.
An additional resource is required to provide extra capacity across the group. We are looking for someone with experience of document and drawing preparation and management through the Teamcenter Enterprise 8 PDM environment.
You will be working in a team of approximately ten people supporting multiple projects across the business with a range of tasks depending on your capabilities.
This may include compiling and formatting documents ready for publication, implementing changes into documents and drawings, and coordinating reviews and change management in the Teamcenter Enterprise 8 PDM environment.
Responsibilities:
Administration of Data & Document tasks assigned to you.
Compile and format documents and drawings.
Comply with Document and Configuration Management procedures.
Co-ordinate with colleagues to ensure the project teams understand Data/ Document/ Configuration requirements, and advise best practice.
Contribute towards the program delivery milestones.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Teamcenter Enterprise 8 PDM experience.
IT Skills: Microsoft Suite particularly Excel & Word. Adobe Acrobat.
Able to read drawings and parts lists.
Strong Attention to detail.
Excellent organisation and planning skills.
Administration experience.
Awareness of IT remote access principals.
Conversant with UK Export Control and ITAR regulations.
Good communication skillsThe role is based in Rochester, Kent - commutable from Chatham, Gillingham, Gravesend, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Dartford with excellent access from London and Essex
