About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe's latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB Are looking to recruit a Senior Document Controller.
In this role the candidate will be required to:
Support the implementation of Information Control processes and standards in line with the company strategy.
Assist in the development and maintenance of Information Control documentation and systems to ensure alignment with business policy and industry standards.
Ensure that all communications between EKFB and the Client, Supply Chain and Stakeholders are accurately recorded and shared with the wider Project team.
Ensure that all access and permissions granted within the EDMS are relevant and appropriate.
Provide training and technical support to staff and the supply chain to raise awareness and ensure the successful implementation of processes and procedures relating to Information Control systems.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct use of the EDMS and act as the first point of contact in respect of Information Control.
Escalate any issues in respect of overdue/outstanding documentation with relevant project stakeholders.
Assist in the development of training support guides.
Ensure compliance with the Client EDMS requirements within project information delivery timescales.
Maintain responsibility for own workload, continually developing skills and knowledge.
Support cultural change within the business unit/project by promoting a digital approach to Information Management.
About The Candidate
Experience in information management, document control in a technical environment (ideally civil engineering / infrastructure), with large numbers of deliverables
Familiarity with relevant information management standards (PAS 1192)
Well-organised, meticulous, good attention to detail
Strong Excel, data manipulation and IT skills (PowerBI desirable)
Familiarity with databases and common data environments (e.g. BIMXtra, eB, ProjectWise)
Relevant technical qualification (desirable)
