The IT Shared Service Centre was established in 2008 and is designed to deliver centralised IT infrastructure and services to ABF companies. We currently operate in 23 countries over 185 locations, with over 150 employees.
Reporting to the Security Operations manager, a Cyber Defence Shift Lead will be responsible for leading a SOC shift; acting as the escalation point for technical issues raised by other analysts and overseeing successful completion and (where necessary) handover of tasks.
The role will be based at the ABF IT Shared Service Centre located in Peterborough.

Location: Peterborough, UK (currently homeworking in-line with Covid-19 guidance)
Reports to: Security Operations Manager
The Cyber Defence team play a vital role in protecting ABF businesses. You will work alongside two Cyber Defence Analysts to provide a range of services as part of the 24 by 7 shifts. These services include ongoing monitoring of our assets, identification and response to identified incidents, system vulnerability analysis, remediation tracking and administration of our security related systems.
In addition the Cyber Defence Shift Lead will:
* lead the analysis of security related events validate
* escalate and report on potential cyber incidents

You are a highly motivated subject matter expert and possess experience with a number of core security related technologies, always considering how to keep systems and data secure. You love attention to detail and have a proven track record in analytical and problem solving skills. An extensive understanding of security standards and risk management frameworks will help you really achieve in this role.
