Hygiene Operative -NIGHTS
Working in a factory can be more than just a job if you join the right team!
Gi Group are looking to recruit for a Hygiene Operative to come and join our client and become a part of their successful team in Malton, North Yorkshire. This will be an on-going contract which could lead into a full time position for the right hard working, reliable candidate.
As a Hygiene Operative, you will be using chemicals in cleaning the factory plant, equipment /facilities and operating within strict hygiene rules and regulations to maintain food safety standards. Tasks will involve working as part of a team, cleaning, use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, removing waste in line with standard operating procedures.
You will be a team player, resilient and will be able to adapt to a factory environment, as it can be busy, pressured, cold and wet. Your safety is our priority and to ensure this we will provide you with training and the relevant personal protective equipment.
Working times
MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 10PM to 6AM -40 hours per week with overtime available.
Pay rates:
PRE 12 weeks - GBP 8.91 Standard
GBP 13.37 OT 1 - for over 40 h per week
GBP 17.82 OT 2 - for over 40 h per week on Sundays
POST 12 weeks - GBP 8.79 Standard
GBP 14.69 OT 1 - for over 40 h per week
GBP 19.58 OT 2 - for over 40 h per week on Sundays
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of cleaning and/or using industrial chemicals also will have a good level of physical fitness in order to complete manual handling tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Cleaning production machinery to a high standard
* Working to deadlines
* Ensuring correct levels of cleaning materials
* A can do attitude is a must
* Cleaning production areas to a high standards
* Will be able to follow the required quality and hygiene standards
