PURPOSE
Manage the PM rewinder, achieving the specifications and the plan of paper mill production in compliance with the working instructions and the safety guide lines.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
* Operate the PM rewind machine in line with production plan and record output in stock control system
* Be familiar with loading methodology into winder
* Set up and run the rewinder machine to ensure optimum quality and efficiency
* Understand, achieve and manage the rewinder guarding, interlocks and safety circuits
* Identify, understand and resolve problems in the paper
* Comply with all defined standards for quality, environment and Health and Safety
* Operate equipment in accordance with training guidelines
* Assist maintenance when appropriate
* Weight, wrap and label the reels if required
* Be familiar with roll data system
* Change consumables of rewinder and wrapper if requested
* To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
* To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
