ABOUT OUR ROLE
As an SDET within our Cyber Solutions team, You will be responsible for taking ownership of the current automation process and enhance the tooling and tests to help the team build some of the most innovative cyber security products on the market. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills and experience with driving high quality agile development practices into scrum teams in order to ensure our automation is scalable, robust and resilient
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As an SDET, you will be working in a highly dedicated team, working on systems that are used and trusted by millions of people every day !
We are looking for a proactive, quality focussed software engineer who thrives on building automation frameworks and driving high quality agile development practices into and across scrum teams. In essence, you will take the current automation and enhance the tooling and tests to help the team build some of the most innovative cyber security products on the market.
Specifically you will be responsible for :
* Taking ownership of the test infrastructure and constantly seek opportunities for continual improvement
* Taking ownership of the Automation Backlag
* Design / Produce highly scalable and resilient test cases
* Conversion of manual tests into highly developed automation
ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you will a keen interest and exposure to cyber security and exposure to a range of networking technologies. We believe that attitude is key and so, to excel in this role, you will have well-developed influencing skills, a "can do" approach and a genuine desire to improve our ways of working through researching and considering alternative technologies.
Your technical skills will include a combination of :
* Coding skills in Java/Javascript or similar languages
* Architecture and design skill for automation frameworks and tools
* Strong experience with Selenium
* Strong experience of libraries such as Rest Assured
* Knowledge of the Cyber Security Market or Strong networking technology skills
* Detail oriented approach with methodical and organised approach
* Experience of working embedded in an Agile development team
