The Job:

You will deliver outstanding Counselling lessons across a range of levels using a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies including remote learning via Microsoft Teams as required.

You will provide learners with an exceptional educational experience enabling them to maximise their potential.

You will work at our Stockport Campus where we are making a multi-million pound investment in new buildings, better facilities and resources.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you possess a Degree or a relevant professional qualification together with suitable experience which relates to teaching Counselling courses from level 2 to level 3.A teaching qualification will also be required along with a commitment to achieve a level 5 qualification within 2 years, or if a vocational area a commitment to achieve teacher qualified status within 2 years.

The successful applicant must:

  • Be a qualified, experienced counsellor in current supervised practice
  • Have a sound theoretical knowledge of Person Centred, CBT and TA
  • Possess a minimum level 4 counselling qualification
  • Be a member of a professional body eg BACP, BABCP, NCS or UKCP
  • Hold professional indemnity insurance
