Axon Moore are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Radcliffe. My client is seeking a Trainee or Graduate Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis.
The role will incorporate a range of accounting duties and reporting into the Financial Controller. You will work alongside the wider accounts team to help them to hit accounting deadlines.
The ideal candidate should be hungry to learn and develop from the ground up. This role will give you an entry into an accounting role and the ability to take on more duties, gaining more exposure as you go.
Duties
Purchase ledger - assisting with entering invoices and managing the supplier process
Assisting with Sales ledger and managing the customer process
Assisting with Credit Control
Account administration
Bank account reconciliation
Data entry and updating files
Other ad-hoc accounts admin duties
Person requirement
Graduate or someone with some experience within an Accounts Assistant position
Fully competent with MS Word and Excel
Use of accounting systems would be beneficial
Excellent attention to detail
Hungry to learn and develop and support the team in any area required
Ability to work in a focused manner
Excellent communication skills
Proven experience working to deadlines
