Gi Group are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Bicester, Oxfordshire for Class 2 HGV Multi Drop Driver with an immediate start. Handballing is involved, therefore candidates will need to be physically fit.
This role is on a temporary - permanent basis with an immediate start!
45+ Hours per week
Location: Bicester
Hourly rate: GBP15.22 per hour
Perm Salary: GBP38,000- OTE GBP42,000
Contract Type: Temp-Perm
Shifts: Monday to Friday + Saturdays available as overtime
Start times: 05:00am-06:00am
Average shift length: 9/10 hours
You'll be delivering great food and other catering products to a huge range of customers, from restaurants, pubs, and schools, to care homes and hospitals. Our vehicles are all kitted out with the latest tech, including telematics, but you'll have to use plenty of initiative to find the drop off points. Handballing is involved, therefore candidates will need to be physically fit.
Full training will be provided and will last up to 3 weeks which will include system training, sitting with a buddy to work out potential routes.
The successful candidate will:
Need to hold a clean, current HGV driving license, a digital tachograph card, completed driver CPC
* Able to work weekends and Nights out when needed
* Candidates with driving licence category C+E are advantageous
* Have exceptional people/communication skills
* Be able to work under pressure
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have good numeracy and literacy skills
