This is a new role within the Commercial Department, reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager. You will build and analyse data reports to create compelling recommendations which enable the business to effectively monitor performance, drive continual improvement and shape the future growth strategy.
The primary focus will be the development of analysis and insights relating to business performance, market trends, product/campaign performance, customer segmentation and the customer experience through service delivery.
Key activities will include:
Performance reporting at a product, customer, channel, campaign, service and market level, both in terms of regular and ad hoc analysis on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual or project basis.
Aid in development of annual projections, scenarios and long-range growth forecasts to inform the business plan and product/pricing strategy.
Leading from an analysis & reporting perspective to drive continual improvement of data systems and third-party sources.
Support the Senior Commercial Manager in preparing business presentations, for internal audiences and external stakeholders.
Ad hoc deep dive customer analysis with subject matter experts eg. Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, 37.5 hours per week with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Degree level qualification in relevant field.
Segment performance analysis and lifetime value.
Volume/value forecasting and risk impact assessment.
ROI analysis.
Highly proficient in Microsoft office and Power BI.
Proficient understanding of SQL.
Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills.
High attention to detail & accuracy.
Proficient at communicating complex issues succinctly and in an engaging way to motivate/influence various stakeholders.
Experience of delivering a comprehensive range of insights to support growth strategies.Desirable Skills
The desirable skills we are looking for in this role are as follows:
Relevant/comparable market sector experience gained in a similar commercial context.
Project lead, involving collaboration with or matrix management of others to secure successful delivery.

The M6toll is the most exciting development in British transport history for many years. Since the M6toll opened in December 2003, it has grown from strength to strength and is recognised as the key strategic through route in the West Midlands, bypassing one of Europe's most congested motorways.
We are a private company with the government concession to design, build, operate and maintain the 27 miles of the M6toll until 2054. After this time the road will be handed back to the government
