Apple Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Finance Systems Analyst for our public sector housing client based in Belfast.
This post is full-time, 37 hours Monday to Friday. GBP10.21 an hour and temporary ongoing.
JOB PURPOSE:
* To assist in the support of the integrated financial management system and ancillary systems
* To assist in the review, analysis, development and implementation
of systems and processes within the Finance Division.
* Involvement in a wide range of finance projects of both a technical and analytical nature.
Key Tasks
* Finance Systems Administration & Interfacing
* Systems Security and testing
* Desktop tools
* Business Objects/ Crystal Reporting
* Business Improvement/Projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have: -
* A relevant qualification at A-level or above (ie ICT, Accounting, etc)
Exceptionally, candidates not holding the above level of qualifications but with
3 years' relevant experience may also be considered.
Essential:
* Demonstrate an interest in becoming involved in systems support and developing reporting skills.
Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 1 year's practical experience within the last three years in two or more of the following areas: -
* Involvement in implementing change as part of a Project Team.
* Involvement in identifying/implementing new reporting requirements.
* Involvement in identifying new, more efficient way of working (e.g. process improvement)
* Experience working in a busy transaction processing environment using a software package.
* Advanced skills with desktop productivity tools such as MS Excel or MS Access
