Brightwork are supporting a key FMCG production company based in Glasgow, with the recruitment of two permanent Production Planners.
These roles will report straight to the Operations Manager, working as part of the operations team to plan and schedule the short, medium and long-term productions volumes for the site. You'll help with the creation and management of the Master Production Schedule, and develop an operational supply capacity plan.
The Production Planners will work closely with the material planners and packaging buyers, to ensure the full supply chain is working in partnership, lending assistance, and developing processes along the way.
You'll be tasked with collating all of the production requests across multiple product lines, and input these into the overall Master Plan. You must optimise product workflows, and accurately calculate all labour and equipment needs to cover the product demand.
To be considered for this role you must have a strong background in Production Planning, and ideally have some relevant industry experience, working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be working to urgent deadlines and demands, and you must be able to manage these without compromising on the quality of work produced.
