Our client a major civil engineering contractor are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst
They will be responsible for Monthly Financial Board Pack/ Management Accounts including consolidation, analysis, review and supporting information
• Forecasting and Budgeting
• Assist with future developments including testing
• Adhoc analytical requirements
The key accountabilities will be to deliver the full suite of consolidated Management Accounts in line with agreed timetable
• Prepare the monthly GCP submissions
• Maintain and collate the Board Pack to agreed timetable
• Publish Forecast and Budget models for completion, collate the returns and consolidate
• Be involved where required with project related work including systems testing
The key skills required will be:
Strong communication skills, able to interact with all levels of staff and provide clear answers or direction
• Organised working methods, can manage multiple tasks/projects at one time prioritising as appropriate
• Very Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of VENA desired
• Team player, understanding all of the deliverables by the team and when they are due
• Ability to work to deadlines
• High Standards of Attention to Detail, be a further level of review before final numbers are published
• Good level of accounting knowledge
