Our client are a well established, independently owned and family run estate agency with offices based in Bracknell and Ascot. Due to an exciting period of expansion, they are seeking a Senior Lettings Negotiator to join their team.

The Lettings Negotiator will be required to help maintain and grow the Residential Lettings portfolio, which includes a wide range of quality properties from studio apartments to large family homes.

The requirement is for a proactive, personable and self-assured individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion using their own initiative or following specific instructions. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, be highly organised, efficient, and able to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Daily liaison with applicants, tenants and landlords

* Registering applicants and organising and conducting property viewings

* Pro-actively helping to generate new business to build the managed and rent collection portfolio

* Assisting with taking new properties onto the market

* Preparing comparables and case studies

* Achieving individual valuation/instruction targets and average fees.

* Full knowledge of terms & conditions and tenancy agreement.

* Touting other agents stock that is available to let.

* Writing up new property details

* Dealing with tenant and landlord notices

* Achieving the office weekly, monthly and quarterly lettings targets

As part of working within a growing team for an independent estate agent, there will also be a requirement to carry out other duties as reasonably required from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

* Good standard of general education (numeracy and literacy)

* Excellent communication skills

* Desire to achieve and exceed targets

* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

* Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative

* Good team member with a flexible and helpful approach to work

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

* ARLA training and/or qualification is beneficial

* Full driving licence and car owner

Travel is an integral part of this role and access to a vehicle and possession of a full driving licence are both therefore essential.
