We're looking for a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor based at Tibshelf Community Primary School who wants to make a difference and thrives in a challenging environment. The Cleaning Supervisor will have:
* Understanding of Health and Safety practices.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative.
* Excellent communication skills to build effective working relationships.
Main responsibilities include:
* Supporting and training the cleaning team.
* To have a hands-on approach with cleaning.
* Undertake cleaning in a designated area.
* Support, train, and guide new and supply staff when provided.
* Ensure new or relief staff are inducted to the site cleaning manual.
* To assist with the cleaning of the site if short staffed.
* To coordinate cleaning staff during periods of absence to ensure all priority areas are cleaned to a high standard.
* Arrange cover in conjunction with the area manager for holidays/absences.
* Undertake cleaning audits and report findings to the area manager and on-site client representative.
* Monitoring and ordering of cleaning resources.
* Respond to additional / ad hoc / unexpected cleaning issues within the overall specification of the contract.
* Report any Hazard spots, near miss incidents or accidents in a timely manner following Vertas procedures.
* Liaising with client representative on a weekly basis to discuss service delivery
* Liaising with Area Cleaning Manager to ensure effective delivery of high level of cleaning standards.
* Ensure you and your colleagues always work in line with Health and Safety regulations - including but not limited to adherence to COSHH, risk assessments and wearing of PPE.
Your Package:
