About our Client
Our client is a global animal nutrition business operating in 128 countries with a workforce of over 5,000. As a member of the Global Gut Health platform, you will report directly to the platform Director, and be responsible for the co-ordination and development of technical solutions for the Global Gut Health Platform alongside the Global Marketing Manager. The platform is focused primarily on monogastric species (Pig and Poultry) and focuses on delivering internal product training and content to sales teams globally.
About the Role
Working closely with research, marketing and commercial leads to create sales tools for the global salesforce, implement UN sustainability development goals utilising the businesses technologies. Developing and providing solutions to the poultry industry to address industry challenges. Customer data collection, analysis and interpretation utilising PowerBI. Offering technical services to the marketing and sales teams. Technical writing for articles, preparing publications from research data and conference presentations internally and externally (representing the business at local and international conferences). Maintaining and further development of our European network of researchers and consultants working in the field of poultry nutrition, management and disease
The Ideal Candidate
The role will require a candidate with an excellent understanding of the animal nutrition industry with 3-5 years of experience. Strong technical writing skills, on-farm knowledge and familiarity with nutritional solutions are essential for this role. This role bridges the crucial gap between research, technical and marketing. The ability to speak another language would also be an advantage. You would be required to travel both within the UK and within Europe. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The business is a forward-thinking company, and the successful candidate should show interest and knowledge in key areas such as gut health, antibiotic reduction and resistance.
