Shut the front door!!! TQR Exeter is seeking an experienced Head Chef in Eastbourne, we have an exciting new pub opening for one of our favourite clients. They are offering a permanent contract ( 40 hours per week ), on-site accommodation for anyone relocating to the South Coast, fantastic company benefits and much more!
As a Head Chef you will be required to:
* Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver menu items to the highest standard, and in an efficient manner
* Work to spec menu's ( frozen )
* Maintain a control system to assure quality and portion consistency, as well as reducing food waste
* Working to the highest possible standard of health & safety, ensuring food hygiene standards are always maintained
* Supporting with stock management and ordering
* As a head chef you will take full management of the kitchen team including recruitment, training, development and rota management.
* Continuously driving customer satisfaction levels through excellent food production

* Exceptional organisational skills
* Previous experience of working in a fast paced, high volume kitchen
* Hands on approach
* Experience in stock take & budget control
* Excellent people-management and communication skills
* Experience of leading and developing a team
* Compliance and policy driven
* Is used to working with bought in frozen food
