Swift Care Solutions are recruiting Care Assistants to provide a Homecare Service to clients in the Heritage Coast area, covering Aldeburgh, Leiston, Saxmundham, Southwold, Framlingham, Kessingland and surrounding villages.

Key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant - Homecare
* To provide the highest level of personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities within their own homes.
* To undertake the tasks detailed in the Client's Care & Support Plan using a person centred approach and in the least intrusive way, taking into account their physical, emotional, culteral and social needs.
* To assist the Client's with their medication.
* To provide light general household domestic duties as detailed in the Care Plan.
* To prepare food and drink for the Client, being aware of their likes and dislikes, dietary and cultural needs and giving them choices.
* To actively talk and listen to Client about their interests and hobbies.
* To accompany the Client on to trips to the shops, hospital appointments and maintain links with family, friends and the local community.
* To maintain detailed accurate records in respect of all care and medication support given.
* To observe best practice and contribute to developing innovative ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the service.
* To attend and participate in regular team meetings, supervisions and training.
Key Skills Required to be a Care Assistant - Homecare
* Passion to deliver a high quality care service, enabling Client's to remain in their own homes.
* Positive attitude and reliable.
* Flexible and adaptable, no two days are the same.
* Car Driver essential.
* Care experience preferable but full training given if you are looking for a career change and can demonstrate a caring personality.
