Biomedical Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Biomedical Support Worker to work for one of our NHS clients based in Leeds. The role is full time, lasting up for 2 months initially, with the right candidate starting ASAP.
The main duties will reverberate around assisting the Senior Biomedical Scientists, this will involve:
* Collecting, receiving and processing specimens for testing.
* Delegating duties to junior colleagues.
* Participating in internal and external quality audits.
* Performing laboratory procedures.
* Inputting confidential information on the in-house database.
* Ordering and managing the supply of consumables/materials.
* Pro actively supporting research projects, including clinical trials.
* Liaising with healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have undertaken a similar role previously. However, if you have worked in a laboratory and are able to start ASAP, then do not hesitate to apply by using the online facility available.
