We are looking for a Production Planner / Scheduler to join a friendly planning team, assisting the Manufacturing Manager based in Havant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known company adding a fantastic name to your CV!
What will I be doing?
As a successful Production Planner, you will be working within a small project team to manage new and existing orders. Supporting live projects from inception through to completion you will be liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure a timely and cost-effective project is executed. Using the companies in house systems and utilising all resources, you will schedule / estimate projects, forecast headcount, ensure materials are to hand and carry out all necessary reports.
What do I need?
If you have experience of various CRM or ERP / MRP Systems then great as the training given on the companies' enterprise resource planning platform will come naturally to you. Alongside the ERP you will be working with Microsoft Office; therefore if you are an Excell whizz then even better!. Utilising your experience with Excel and its functions such as VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE and various FORMULAS will help with the production schedule. If you have a strong understanding of fabrication processes and the confidence to liaise with internal department heads, that will be a bonus!
