Architectural Technician
We are recruiting for an Architectural Technician to join a leading architectural practice based in Newport.
Due to winning many new projects with regional and national housing developers they now require an Architectural Technician to join their growing residential team.
Overall, this practice has two offices and employs over 40 staff. The Newport office is based close by to the train station and has parking nearby.
They have a great reputation for working with local, regional, and national housing developers across the UK. Their residential team consists of Technicians, Architects, and Urban Designers and they provide a full service to clients starting from design of projects to delivery.
Projects wise it ranges from bespoke homes, retirement living, small, medium, and large-scale residential schemes.
The Role: Architectural Technician
* Producing site plans, house packs, technical details
* Supplying and supporting national house builders design teams with technical information
* Provide technical information for submitting to NHBC
* Produce working drawing packages and detailing for residential schemes
* Use AutoCAD and Revit
Salary: GBP21K-GBP28K, depending on previous experience along with a competitive benefits package and flexible working. The Newport office is based a short walk from Newport train station.
