Protocol Education is looking for Nursery Assistants with SEN experience to work across Kent.
You will help children with a wide range of Social Emotional and Mental Health
The right candidate will;
-Preparing learning resources.
-Encouraging children's confidence, self esteem and independence.
-Helping children understand instructions, through repetition, re-phrasing or demonstrating.
-Putting into practice individual education, social, behavioural and personal care programmes.
-Encouraging children to communicate with one another and with staff.
-Providing feedback
-Supporting children in social activities and on outings.
- Assisting children during therapy sessions.
-Recognising signs of distress in children and offering reassurance.
-Attending to pupils' physical needs.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of GBP40.00
