An exciting role has arisen for a Technical Planning Analyst.

Reporting to the Operations Planning Manager. You will deliver and improve operational planning for the business from beet delivery through to sugar silos including Co-Products.

This role will involve collaborating with the wider supply chain team and AB Connect by identifying opportunities and mitigating risk surrounding the operational plan, also providing insights and aligning with the business strategy. Ultimately you will need to be capable of creating robust and accurate primary planning models and able to discuss assumptions and limitations of the model, therefore effectively supporting the Operations Planning Manager and to develop to be their future successor.

Key Accountabilities include:

The reporting of complex primary data, such as, weekly and period reporting stock tracking (e.g. Period juice stocks and WE)

Working in partnership with the Operations Planning Manager to produce demand plans for Co-Products (E.g. Pressed Pulp, AD beet swaps, Liquid movements). Measure weekly adherence to demand plan and the implications, providing weekly performance updates to the wider business
Supporting the build of the Primary Model (Mayfly),

Understanding and inputting the latest crop data
Gathering, challenging and agreeing factory performance data
Ensure accuracy and validity of inputs into the model
Solve the model using clear assumptions to build a draft plan

Supporting build for Primary/Co-Products Reviews:

Manage stakeholders and ensure engagement and alignment with the Primary Plan

Presenting complex analysis in a clear way
Sharing the story
Identify key decisions and actions

Responsibility for the verification of biannually independent silo stocktake
Responsible for issue resolution and action with AB Connect
Always demonstrate highest personal Health and Safety standards and work effectively with other team members to carry out tasks safely and effectively

Experience & Skills

Advanced skills in analysing and presenting data including advanced Excel skills

Degree within relevant discipline such as Mathematics/Sciences or equivalent qualification/experience

Understanding and knowledge of Supply Chain operating principles
