Immediate requirement for a UK Supply Chain Lead in Knaresborough, Harrogate.

The candidate must have hands on systems experience of SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI - all very important. Suited to someone who enjoys using Data.

Our client is a global business who supply environment improvement products to the domestic and industrial markets. They have 15 sites in the UK and Europe, employ over 500 staff with a turnover of GBP150M+.

This role is part of both the UK and Group Supply Chain team, responsible for stock availability, inventory levels and overall performance of the Supply Chain.

The Supply Chain Specialist will rectify supply issues with colleagues in Procurement and Supply Chain to maintain excellent Customer Service. He/she will develop strong working relationships with the Supply Chain colleagues in Europe to implement shared ways of working and jointly manage suppliers and stocks.

The UK runs SAP as its ERP system and is implementing Microsoft Dynamics as the "front-end" of the Supply Chain Management System. This role will set supply and stocking parameters and ensure that the systems are operated effectively. Interrogate MS Dynamics to provide KPIs, metrics and reports.

Adept at using Supply Chain Systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
Adept at running reports from ERP systems
Strong Supply Chain experience
Supply and Supplier management experience
Accountabilities:

Generate arrears and inventory reports to manage both key metrics.
Manage the arrears/backorder rectification process.
Manage inventory as required to achieve monthly targets.
Generate production orders from MRP.
Responsible for the ordering and stocking parameters in the Supply Chain system
Interrogate the Supply Chain system to produce and analyse data to improve the workings of Supply Chain.
Runs MRP for the US satellite (also in SAP B1) to generate inter-company orders to serve the US warehouse.
Collaborate across the Benelux and Spain business with Forecasting, Procurement, Sales, Marketing and Operations to maximise business opportunities and EBITDA.
Focus on safety, cost management and business growth in all interactions and directives.
Drive continuous improvement in Supply Chain systems and operations.
Work with NPI to ensure effective commercialisation and launch of New Products.
Customer Service improvements (reduced arrears, improved availability, improved OTIF)
Inventory levels performance
