My client, an industry leading precision engineering company in Somerset have a fantastic job opportunity for a Value Stream Leader to join their growing team.
The Value Stream Leader, based in Somerset will report into the Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for prioritising, organising, and executing production schedules to achieve high quality, on time, cost effective product. You will also conduct team meetings and communicate production priorities, collaborating across departments and resolving any issues effecting daily targets and the production schedule, along with advising the Manufacturing Manager immediately regarding any issues that affect the achievement of production targets and provide recommendations for remedial action(s). You will be responsible for coordinating the teams across all shifts, ensuring appropriate level of cover is maintained at all times.
The Value Stream Leader, based in Somerset will have knowledge of manufacturing principles with a solid understanding and practical experience of operational techniques such as 5S and will have practical working knowledge and experience of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment.
