The Role

Our Fulborn branch are now looking to appoint 3 Warehouse Operatives to perform a number of daily operational tasks. Providing the highest levels of customer service, you will pick, pack and deliver approximately 7,000 pieces per annum and have a multi drop pattern of up to 20 drops per driving shift.

Receiving deliveries from the European Distribution Centre and putting stock away in the correct location, you will pick customers orders and load relevant vehicles in accordance with the delivery schedule. You will ensure all glass is delivered in a suitable condition and in a timely manner, maintaining a professional appearance when it comes to presence and driving style. This role also involves some office duties such as; answering customer calls, raising orders on our bespoke in-house system and ordering glass through the European Distribution Centre.

The Person

We’re looking for an individual who has a good attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a team. We’ll need you to be flexible to work shifts and some Saturdays and be willing to cover different shifts to cover holidays and sickness.

As 30% of this role involves driving, candidates must have a full UK driving licence and a minimum of 3 years driving experience. We also need you to have experience of driving a 3.5t vehicle and be willing to undergo a driving licence check with the DVLA.

A FLT licence is desirable, however this is not essential.

Salary & Benefits

  • Working hours are 42 hours per week (both day and night shifts available)
  • Salary starts at £19,527. Shift premium where applicable as follows (£1,953 lates / £3,905 nights). Salary will increase to £19,900 following successful probation period (£1,990 late / £3,980 night shift premium)
  • 28 days holiday per annum inclusive of public holidays
